HONGLONG DRY CHILI

Honglong(Red Dragon) Chili is a popular dried processing chili from China. Produced in the Xinjiang region of China, it is a new generation of export-oriented products for generating foreign exchange.

Features

  • Shape: It grows 13–15cm long with with a slender shape,  easy to dry into fine dried peppers.a dried pod weighs about 4 grams.

  • Color: Fresh ripe chillies are bright red. After drying, both the outer skin and inner flesh show a rich purplish‑red colour, evenly saturated from surface to core.

  • Heat Level: Medium spiciness, measured at approximately 10,000–15,000 SHU . The heat is noticeable but mild and balanced, not overly pungent, making it suitable for a wide range of palates.

Widely used for chili powder, chili sauce, food coloring, pickles and catering seasoning, ideal for industrial food processing and daily home cooking.
